A Studio of Her Own

A Studio of Her Own advances women's arts and women artists in Jerusalem and beyond. Based in a historic venue at the heart of Jerusalem, the Studio promotes Israeli women artists through multiple programming – art exhibitions, local and international residency programs, business training for women artists, outdoor educational eco-art workshops, community outreach, and dance, poetry and music events. Our entire range of programs are based on values of multiculturalism and aim at bridging and connecting Jerusalem's unique and diverse communities. A Studio of Her Own is the recipient of the prestigious Genesis Prize Award for Women's Empowerment and Creativity in Israel, and the Ministry of Education Award for Jewish Creation (both in 2018). Our local and international partnerships include the Municipality of Jerusalem, Jerusalem Foundation, the Israeli Ministry of Culture, the US Embassy to Israel, and a range of private and public donors in Israel and abraod.
