Alon & Ella – people for the community

Imagine a society in which anyone who needs help and anyone who wants to help has one address. An organization that knows to provide care to a variety of populations in need, give support, accompany and sometimes even just provide a real hug that makes a true difference. This is exactly what we have been doing for the past year and a half at “Alon & Ella – people for the community” This is what our daily routine looks like... Every day we receive many calls asking for help in various life aspects, because when someone is in need, when they do not have food in the fridge, when they cannot get to Hospital for treatment, they also cannot wait for bureaucratic procedures that can take months. They need us now, and we are here! Since we started the organization: • We've distributed 9,000 food packages • We've helped thousands of elderly people and people with disabilities • We've renovated and furnished more than 1,000 apartments of lone soldiers, single mothers and domestic violence survivors • We've packed and distributed for those in need more than 100 tons of cooked food • We’ve organized more than 700 Volunteering Days for companies and organizations We are the address for anyone in need almost in any field and we know how to provide quick solutions with no delays. So, how can we help everyone? In order for our amazing 4,000 volunteers to be able to continue their doing, and in order for us to be able to continue providing solutions, we have started a crowdfunding campaign – so that we do not have to turn down any request we receive. With the money we raise we can: • Purchase more food packages and cooked food for families around the country • Go on more voluntary days in which we can renovate day clubs for the elderly • Support centers for youth at risk • Rent a warehouse in which we’ll store equipment for domestic abuse survivors, families in need and lone soldiers after their service • Bottom line, the money we will raise, will allow us to help more and more people In order for this to happen we need each and every one of you!
