Addressing hunger in the community

Donors: 10

Feed My Neighbor – Addressing hunger in the community Inspired by our Jewish traditions, Kaima Nahalal donates vegetables directly to the needy as well as to other NGOs focused on reducing food insecurity. Each year 2,500-2,700 people--including women suffering PTSD, single mother-led households, the critically ill, the unemployed, and others--are fed through this undertaking. The initiative reflects the highest principles of Tzedakah, empowering our young farmers, many of whom too have suffered food insecurity, as responsible, empathic citizens. Our capacity to carry out the project depends on donor support, which we will match shekel-for-shekel, basket-for-basket.
