renovating the pensioners' club

The meeting club is a social club for senior citizens in Kiryat Tivon that is operated by the Shalhevet association and supervised by the department of social services in the Kiryat Tivon local council. Nearly 60 senior citizens participate in several activities during the week such as a social club, knitting club, parliament, etc. The purpose of the campaign is to build an activity yard for senior citizens that will include: a shade pergola, tables and benches as well as planters for planting. The yard is required for veterans like air to breathe to sit in the shade and also to perform gymnastics activities and listen to lectures in the yard. In addition, the campaign funds will be used for the painting of the club and internal renovation that will include plaster work in order to upgrade and improve the visibility of the club.
