"Atufim B'Ahava - Israeli Children's Fund" (ICF) was established just days after the events of October 7th by Israeli business women and men, and hi-tech professionals, out of an understanding that the hundreds of children and young adults orphaned that day would require long-term support — personal, professional, and financial — to rebuild their lives.

The organization currently supports approximately 600 children and young adults who lost one or both parents on that terrible day. Many of them experienced deep trauma, the loss of additional family members, displacement from their homes, and significant harm to their sense of security, belonging, and stability.

Our Commitment is to be there for them from birth until age 30, with personally tailored, long-term support and guidance, grounded in a rehabilitative and protective approach.

The organization operates across three main areas of activity:

Financial Support-

- Recovery and Resilience Grants: Assistance with therapeutic treatments, emotional support, and participation in recovery activities. The flexibility of the grant framework allows each child to receive support tailored to their individual recovery journey.

- Education Grants: Support from early childhood through higher education, including assistance in funding courses and professional training.

- Life Milestone Grants: Support during significant moments and milestones throughout life – from birthdays to meaningful events such as Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, graduation, marriage, and the birth of a first child.

Grant allocation is overseen by a professional committee that reviews and approves each request individually, ensuring alignment with the organization’s criteria and defined goals.

Personal and Professional Guidance-

Beneficiaries and their families are accompanied by social workers who maintain ongoing, close relationships with them, providing personal support, a listening ear, and guidance throughout every stage of their individual recovery journey.

Dedicated Programs-

We develop and operate programs based on the evolving needs of the families we support:

- Transition to Independence Program: A dedicated program for young adults ages 17–18 that combines individual and group support, with the goal of preparing them for a safe and successful transition into independent adult life.

- Mentoring Program: A program for young adults ages 21+ that provides multidimensional support through ongoing personal mentoring and group guidance designed to help advance individual goals according to each young adult’s personal journey.

- Financial Guidance Program for the Surviving Parent: Providing knowledge and practical tools for responsible and stable financial management.

Every donation enables us to continue supporting these children and young adults throughout their years of recovery and growth, providing them with the support, opportunities, and tools they need to build their future.
