La’Ofek’s employment based programs are life changers for Israel’s underserved sectors. Based on the Rambam’s “Laws of Charity” which asserts that the best way to help an individual is to provide a means of livelihood, La’Ofek’s Achotenu, Ta’asuchayil and New Dawn programs are enabling Israel’s Ethiopian-Israelis become academic nurses and occupational therapists, impoverished soldiers and discharged soldiers, and the long-term unemployed pave a new future.
