La'Ofek - Hope for the Future

La’Ofek’s employment based programs are life changers for Israel’s underserved sectors. Based on the Rambam’s “Laws of Charity” which asserts that the best way to help an individual is to provide a means of livelihood, La’Ofek’s Achotenu, Ta’asuchayil and New Dawn programs are enabling Israel’s Ethiopian-Israelis become academic nurses and occupational therapists, impoverished soldiers and discharged soldiers, and the long-term unemployed pave a new future. Note: All UK Toremet donations to La’Ofek are designated specifically for the Achotenu program, supporting scholarships for Ethiopian-Israeli students.
