Arzei Halevanon Mechina is a pre-military academy located in Shilo, which runs a
program for post-high school students who are looking to strengthen their Jewish
identity, their moral and ethical values, and prepare them for their army service.
Since its inception in 2001, over 700 students have graduated from Arzei Halevanon.
The Mechina’s graduates serve in all branches of the IDF, including elite positions
such as fighter pilots, navy seals, and combat officers.
Once they join the army, these soldiers share the values they acquired during their
studies at the Mechina which ultimately contribute to the unique character of the
IDF.
