Yerucham Association for the Future of Education in Israel - Giving Children a Future They Can Truly Dream Of In today’s Israel, thousands of children and teenagers in geographic and social periphery communities grow up with a significantly lower starting point than their peers in the center of the country. The Yerucham Association for Education in Israel (NPO), active since 2004, was founded to change exactly that — to try and give every child a real opportunity to succeed. Where We Operate — and Who We Support The association currently supports 19 schools across Israel, providing broad educational and social assistance. Alongside our ongoing work, we also operate in highly sensitive and vulnerable settings: • Shlomi – Support for children on the autism spectrum, including specialized and sensitive equipment. • Dimona – Guidance for a “last chance” high school, helping at risk youth on the verge of dropping out rebuild their path forward. • Ashdod – Assistance for children removed from their homes by court order, providing a stable, warm, and protective environment. Each year, our programs benefit approximately 7,000 students, from early childhood through high school, in Yerucham, Be’er Sheva, Givat Olga, Dimona, Hadera, Yavne, Yehud, Kfar Yona, Ramla, Shlomi and Ashdod. Our achievements include: • 7 schools awarded the National Education Prize • Students winning competitions in Israel and abroad • Partner high schools ranked among the top 20 high schools in Israel for four consecutive years • Yeruham High School ranked first in the Negev for matriculation results • Students developing drones — and even launching a satellite into space These are not just numbers. How We Work — And Why Every Shekel Reaches the Children Our model is based on a holistic, personalized approach for each educational institution, in full partnership with its leadership. The association has no salaried employees — all management is done entirely by volunteers. 100% of donations go directly to educational projects in the schools.
