The Kamah Association in Kibbutz Harduf works to achieve the full integration of people with special needs and at-risk children and youth in Israeli society by providing a unique communal model for social inclusion. Kamah provides individuals with special needs with a rehabilitative and therapeutic home in a rural curative community
Based on the philosophy of Anthroposophy Kamah operates:
Beit Tuvia: therapeutic Dormitory for at-risk Children and Youth who were removed from their homes by the social services. We emphasize several aspects of the rehabilitation process, including the creation of a supportive home environment, a wealth of therapies, artistic activities, learning support and pre-vocational training
Beit Elisha: Curative Community for Adults with Special Needs. Members participate in a holistic rehabilitation program combining therapies, life skills and vocational training, and social and recreational activities.
Beit Elisha branches for Religiously Observant Men and Women: House on the Gilboa is home to religiously observant women with special needs at Kibbutz Merav and Achiya House provides a communal home for religiously observant men on the autism spectrum at Kibbutz Ein Hanatziv.
