In these difficult times, when Jews are threatened because of their faith, the "Tzufim La Kehila" shul in Tzufim, in the Shomron (Samaria), has decided to strongly promote the establishment of a permanent synagogue building for our families.
After raising approximately 300,000 NIS from all members of the community, who donated generously, the community now needs additional assistance.
"Tzufim LaKehila" is a unique, integrated and welcoming community. The congregation of worshipers is very diverse. Indeed, this is characterized by the variety of prayers and rites (nusachim) (Ashkenazi, Sephardi, Carlebach, etc.).
The community has adopted acceptance of the other and unity as its core value, an essential foundation, especially in these days, when the Jewish people are required to unite for victory in the battle against those who seek to harm us. Every resident of Tzufim, whether religious or not, woman or man, children and the elderly, are all invited and welcome to be part of the community and play an active role.
The synagogue is characterized by its warm hospitality, and by a special children's prayer which is joined by dozens of children from all over the community.
In these days, we believe that it is important to promote the establishment of the synagogue and turn the temporary building into a permanent dwelling, at a location overlooking the landscape of the entire coastal plain.
