SAHI -Special Hessed Unit

SAHI – Special Hessed (Grace) Unit, has been operating since 2009 for youth in the Israeli socio-geographical periphery, in a wide geographical spread. SAHI operates in more than 40 locations across the country, from Hatzor Haglilit in the north to Eilat in the south. SAHI Youth Units operate within underserved neighborhoods in full partnership with the local youth, with more than 1,500 youth active regularly in community-giving activities, supporting and aiding families and elderly in need in their communities, while changing their own lives for the better. They provide food for more than 2,000 impoverished families on a regular weekly basis. They also initiate a variety of local giving activities such as renovating homes of elderly people, assisting children with disabilities, volunteering with Holocaust survivors, and more.
