Judaism Center, The joint highschool K.A.N

The joint high school K.A.N is aiming to establish a Judaism Center, comprised of a beit midrash and a syanagogue in the same space, where joint prayers will be held by youth from diverse groups in our community, and where these students will have access to "The Jewish Bookcase", so that they may read, study, discuss and ask questions. During the period of planning and work on the project, Yishay Yuval, the father of the school's Vice-Principal at the time, passed away. Yishay z"l was a Cantor ("hazan") and Torah Reader ("baal korei") in the Menachem Zion community of the Old City of Jerusalem. He loved simple prayers that come out of the heart and enter the heart, and acknowledged the value of different people and communities living together. As part of the estabishing the new Judaism Center, we wished to honor the memory of Yishay Yuval z"l by dedicating a unique prayer platform ("bimah") made of wood, to be placed at the synagogue, which will serve K.A.N.'s students. Several months ago, we came out with a campaign through which we received important donations from the school community and the religious council, as well as the extended Yuval family and friends. In addition to over 17,000 shekels raised via the J-Give crowndfunding platform, we also received prayer books, a parochet, and more.  Now we are at the final stages of the project, and we're missing only 2,300 shekel to complete it by finalizing the work on the "bimah". We would be grateful to anyone able to take part in this Mitzvah and the students' special, inclusive prayer, by helping us raise the ermaining funds for the project. Thank you!
