Hospitals on the front line provide all victims with life-saving treatments, first aid required to stabilize lives. After providing initial treatment to the wounded in the south, they are transferred to medical centers in the center and north of Israel. One of the hospitals that accepts them for secondary circuit treatment is Carmel Medical Center. Since the beginning of the war, on October 7, doctors and nurses at the hospital have been assisting Soroka Medical Center and evacuees to Eilat as part of the national effort. Our orthopedic surgeons were among the first to arrive and provide medical treatment to the wounded in the south of Israel. From the second day of the war, we receive wounded soldiers and civilians, most of whom require additional surgical interventions.
