Heroes Forever

In their death, they commanded us to live After a year of fighting, we bring comfort to the bereaved families and commemorate the heroes. This project combines solace and remembrance of the fallen soldiers while also providing strength to those still in combat today. Together, we will pass the torch of light and courage, and the tefillin in memory of the fallen will return to strengthen those fighting on the front lines. For over a year, we have been at war for our homeland in the north and the south. Thousands of our soldiers are fighting face to face with murderous terrorists. We will never forget October 7th, the suffering, and the massacre that broke our hearts. Forever a Hero! With tear-filled eyes and broken, grieving hearts, the “Strength for Soldiers” project commemorates the heroes who fell in the Iron Swords War. This unique and special project is dedicated to the souls of all our children, who fought with their bodies and gave their lives for the defense of the homeland, so that all of us can continue to live on this sacred land – the State of Israel. We must never forget the heroes who paid the ultimate price and their families, who need a strong embrace and a memorial for their most precious loved ones. The tefillin provide a source of comfort amidst the pain. Each pair of tefillin will be given with a dedication chosen by the family. Additionally, every family will be invited to present the tefillin in memory of their loved one to a soldier in combat. This is a moment when pain connects to the story of the hero, for the entire unit, as they witness the first laying of the tefillin in their memory. It is well known that tefillin are a source of blessing and protection in battle – this is what the soldiers truly seek. And we are honored to give them this and strengthen them just before they head back into the fighting. The project will provide a combat soldier with a fine pair of tefillin, embroidered with the name of the fallen hero, along with an emotional phrase left behind as a memory, and tailored according to which hand the soldier lays the tefillin. The set will also include a tefillin bag and a prayer book. (*Anyone who donates a full pair of tefillin will have the option to choose a fallen soldier for commemoration, according to their choice.) Every donation you make becomes an “Enteral Memory”  for the family of the fallen and strength for a combat soldier in battle. On the first anniversary of this tragedy, we don’t just remember the fallen – we commemorate them! We give them an eternal, living memory with dedicated tefillin in their honor. There are so many fallen heroes; now is the time to commemorate your loved ones! Commemorate a brother, son, or a dear comrade who fell in the war and remains forever in your heart.
