The Jerusalem Opera - Special Fundraising Campaign

Dear Patrons of the Arts in Jerusalem, We would like to ask for your help. Due to the emergency situation and the war in Israel, we were forced to cancel one of our productions that was scheduled for October 2023 - the opera "The Yellow Princess". As a result, the Ministry of Culture and the City of Jerusalem may be forced to cut our allocations for that year and this could have repercussions in the years to follow. As it is, donations and sponsorships for our activities have declined over the years due to the situation. As a result, we will not be able to continue our activities at the same level as in the past! We turn to you in this special fundraising campaign, so that we can continue to offer to our audiences our high-qualtity opera productions and concerts. We will soon be bringing a production of the opera "Madama Butterfly" and in 2025, we are planning two Puccini operas for the end of the year and a smaller opera production during the year. Your donation is needed to enable us to meet the goals we have set. Dear supporters and lovers of culture: classical music in general and opera in particular - the queen of the performing arts - is important to us all and is even more important for Jerusalem during these difficult and painful times. It is a source of comfort and solace. We ask you for your monetary support in order to be able to bring high-quality opera productions to Jerusalem and the periphery of Israel. We thank you warmly for your support! The website of the Jerusalem Opera where you can view our achievements and details of our upcoming production "Madama Butterfly: www.jerusalemopera.com
