Support residents of Kiryat Shmona living on the border with Lebanon

Since the escalation with Lebanon, residents of the city of Kiryat Shmona have been living on the frontline, enduring relentless attacks. While most of its 24,000 residents have been evacuated, we cannot neglect those who remain in the danger zone. Leket Israel is committed to providing essential aid to the many homebound elderly and families of children with special needs, still in Kiryat Shmona. These individuals were unable to leave their homes and are living under existential threat and in dire need of Leket’s assistance. In collaboration with Leket’s NPO partner agency, Chabad of Kiryat Shmona, we have been supporting approximately 3,000 residents stuck in the city including the elderly and underprivileged families. They continue to live in uncertainty, confined to their homes near their shelters or safe rooms without access to fresh, nutritious food or the means to purchase it. We need your help to ensure that these Kiryat Shmona residents are not forgotten and to continue providing them with much needed nutritious food during this difficult time. $180 provides hot meals and soups for a resident of Kiryat Shmona for an entire month. Your contribution will enable us to provide these residents with their most basic needs, offering strength and sustenance during these uncertain times.
