Bringing Back the Light to the North

Bringing Back the Light to the North Join in the Reconstruction and Renewal Effort! We invite you to be part of an exciting initiative that will change the face of the north and bring renewed hope to its residents. The "Lev Echad" One Heart organization, which has been working since the October 7th attack and has mobilized over 65,000 volunteers for the rehabilitation of the Gaza envelope, continues its extensive work and is leading the reconstruction efforts in the north. Lev Echad has established a central operations room in the north that coordinates and integrates all activities on the ground, connecting the urgent needs of residents with volunteers. The operations room serves as a base for coordinating and managing activities, ensuring a quick and effective response. As a pioneer in the field, Lev Echad was the first organization to arrive in the north. Its volunteers are already working tirelessly, including in the devastated Metula, where they are working day and night to help residents in urgent need of assistance. we are launching a new operation: 10,000 volunteers will help rebuild northern communities after more than a year of ongoing conflict with Hezbollah. Our Projects: 1. Volunteer Houses: Three volunteer houses will be established in central locations in the north. Each house will have a coordinator and a volunteer team that will address the ongoing needs of the local community. Cost to operate a volunteer house for a year: 200,000 NIS ≈ $53,000 USD. 2. Service Mobile Units: Three fully equipped mobile units with tools, building materials, and professional teams. These units will assist in northern communities with repairs to buildings, electrical systems, plumbing, and more. Cost for a full volunteer day: 10,000 NIS ≈ $2,600 USD. 3. Volunteer Days: Groups of 30 volunteers will assist with large-scale projects in the north. Activities will include a group coordinator, transportation, and providing food for volunteers.
