Peace Activities in South Hebron Hills

Roots is expanding its activities to areas in dire need of peacemakers. The South Hebron Hills, home to communities reliant on agriculture and sheep herding, is also a region marked by a history of pain and violence. Since the outbreak of the war, rising tensions have further deteriorated living conditions for the communities of Masafer Yatta. Through our work on the ground—seeking peace and building peace—we have found partners along the way. This fundraising initiative will enable us to support individuals who act as bridges between Palestinians and Israelis, those who stand against incitement to violence and pursue the path of peace while standing by and supporting their communities. Our goal is for our activists to dedicate the necessary time to carrying the banner of peace while expanding and deepening their efforts, grounded in genuine Israeli-Palestinian partnership.
