Lilach Peer - Run500K

My name is Lilach Peer, and I am the founder of Run500K – a volunteer initiative that renews and distributes sports shoes to those in need. Each pair of shoes comes with a personal message of inspiration from the donor to the recipient, sharing a message of strength, encouragement, and the belief that anything is possible. To date, we have donated over 4,500 renewed pairs of sports shoes, which have been given to lone soldiers, families in need, homeless individuals, and at-risk youth. Our initiative is built on the values of giving, sustainability, and promoting sports and health, and it operates 100% with the help of volunteers. Run500K works in collaboration with the “Ach Gadol” organization to support lone soldiers, families in need, and more by providing high-quality shoes to help them engage in physical activity and maintain their health.
