Supporting Israel’s October 7th Orphans

Atufim B'Ahava- Israeli Children’s Fund (ICF) was established just days after the events of October 7 by Israeli business and tech leaders, out of the understanding that the hundreds of children and young dults who lost a parent that day would need long-term personal, professional, and financial support to rebuild their lives. Today, the organization currently supports approximately 600 children and young adults who lost one or both parents on that terrible day. Many of them experienced deep trauma, the loss of additional family members, displacement from their homes, and significant harm to their sense of security, belonging, and stability. Most come from communities near the Gaza border, cities in the western Negev, and some are part of the Bedouin community. ICF provides a personalized support system that combines financial support with professional guidance. This includes grants for education, recovery, and significant life milestones, alongside personalized support, assistance in accessing rights and benefits, and the development of dedicated programs tailored to their evolving needs over the years. We are committed to providing every child and young adult with personalized, long-term support from early childhood till the age of 30, helping them build independent, thriving, and fullest lives possible, whilst coping with and overcoming loss and trauma.
