Supporting The Equalizer - Sport for education, equality and social cohesion for Israel’s society

I’m Abby Bryfman, and for my Bat Mitzvah, I've chosen to support The Equalizer program in Israel, connecting Jewish and Arab Israeli children through the beautiful game of soccer. Whenever I’m sad, lonely, or even just bored, I will always turn to soccer. To me and many others around the globe, soccer is more than just a game – it’s a bridge, a path, and an opportunity to bring people together, no matter where you come from or who you’re playing with. After October 7, there was a lot of tension and mistrust (I call it beef) between Jewish and Arab Israelis. As I approach my Bat Mitzvah, I’ve been thinking about how my actions here could make some sort of difference. Then I learned about the Equalizer program. It was the perfect mashup between my passion for soccer and my Jewish values. I hope you’ll support me in this effort. And thank you!
