Holiday of Freedom – Also for Those Who Have Nowhere to Go. Approximately 5,000 people with mental health challenges live in group homes across Israel. Many of them experience feelings of isolation and social distancing, especially during holidays like Passover. Passover, the holiday of freedom, which symbolizes liberation, may emphasize the sense of lack and limitation for those who have nowhere to go or anyone to share the holiday with. For them, Passover is a time when they might feel disconnected from society and human connection, making it even more important to offer warmth, respect, and support. This Passover – we won’t leave them behind. We are raising funds to purchase holiday gifts for people with mental health challenges, which will include a toiletry bag with essentials such as hand cream, body lotion, and perfume – small items that bring dignity, comfort, and joy. 🎁 Cost of each gift: 40 NIS 🎯 Goal: At least 400 gifts 💙 Every donation brings us closer to our goal! Join us in giving. Your donation will go directly to residents of group homes through the Lishma Association – People for People with Mental Health Challenges. 👉 Donate now Together, let’s bring them light and hope this holiday. 🌸✨ We didn’t come here to be normal, we came to be simply ourselves.
