The Iron Swords war has exacted heavy tolls on Israeli society as a whole. In this context, our Beit Midrash (study hall) lost three of its graduates - Major Aryeh Ziering z"l (Shiluv 23) who fell in battle defending the Gaza envelope communities on Shmini Atzeret; Captain Ariel Reich z"l (Shiluv 25) who fell in battle in northern Gaza Strip; and Staff Sergeant (res.) Or Brandes z"l (Shiluv 24) who fell in battle in central Gaza Strip. We see it as our duty to commemorate their memory in the Beit Midrash, and wish to dedicate a Torah reading platform ("Bimah") and Torah scroll cover in their memory. We invite you, their friends and those who cherish their memory, to participate in this commemoration and donate however much you can.
