There are moments in life that change everything. On October 7th, the life in Israel changed forever. In a single moment on 7.10.23, Liya Keren, an inspiring young woman battling a rare genetic form of muscular dystrophy, put her own life on hold and voluntarily enlisted in the IDF reserves, Taking on countless vital missions to support Israel and its soldiers. Even now, a year and a half since the war began, despite her illness, Liya continues to serve in the reserves, dedicating herself to endless giving and action.
