Emergency Campaign: Widow & Orphan Support

By Their Side — When It Matters Most

Donors: 337

During Operation Rising Lion, our 12-day war with Iran, Israel faced a massive wave of deadly and destructive attacks. As Iran unleashed barrages of ballistic missiles and explosive drones across the country, another war unfolded silently — in thousands of Israeli homes with IDF widows and orphans. Behind every explosion was a family reliving the trauma of loss: • A lone mother running with her children to the shelter. • A child who is without a comforting father figure by their side. • A family triggered by the sound of sirens, reminded of the day their world fell apart. To ease their burden, the IDF Widows & Orphans Organization shifted into full emergency mode as soon as the war started - and even in its aftermath, aspects of our emergency support is still ongoing: • Emergency Home Repair & Displacement Support • Financial aid for urgent needs • Ready-made meals for families coping to recover We also provided: • New toys for children stuck at home under fire • “Parenting Under Fire” Webinars • 24/7 support hotline We are fully mobilized in our response. But we cannot do it alone. 🇮🇱 We must not forget the IDF widows and orphans, or the price they paid for the rest of us! 🇮🇱 Your donation brings relief — and reminds them they are never alone. IN THE PHOTO: On the night of June 14, 2025, over 40 IDF orphans in our care were rushed to safety during Iranian missile strikes.
