Supporting The Equalizer - Sport for education, equality and social cohesion for Israel’s society

My name is Max Melstein and I will become a Bar Mitzvah on December 6, 2025. I love playing soccer because it’s fun to compete, stay active, and run around with my friends. I also enjoy refereeing soccer games and helping younger kids learn how to play. Soccer brings people together and teaches teamwork and respect, no matter where you’re from. I’m a big Arsenal fan in the English Premier League, and recently I’ve started following Israeli Premier League too. I’ve learned that becoming a Bar Mitzvah means taking on more responsibility — not just for myself, but for helping others. That’s why I chose to support The Equalizer, so kids in Israel can have the same chance to play soccer that I do. My donations will go to the town of Shlomi, on Israel’s northern border, where families have been impacted by ongoing attacks and need something positive and normal in their lives. Someday, I’d love to visit Israel and see what it’s like in person. It’s important to me to help people who are in need because everyone deserves the chance to play, smile, and just be kids.
