Celebration ten years - Establishing new Mechina!

Realize the dream and expand the social activities in Jerusalem! The "Tene Yerushalmi" association works to promote young leadership based on pluralism and activism and meaningful community work in Jerusalem. The association operates four programs throughout Jerusalem, the oldest and largest of which is the Jerusalem Mechina. The Mechina trains and develops young people to initiate and lead volunteer activities in the neighborhood in which they live in a variety of aspects: emotional help and educational work in schools- children and youth, individual learning with children with special needs, accompanying the elderly, active involvement in community life and more. In August 2010 we embarked on the journey- 22 participants, a small house on Brazil Street and a warm embrace from the communities of Kiryat Hayovel and the city of Jerusalem and today the circle has expanded to 300 graduates, many of whom live and work in Jerusalem.                                                           ***********                                                          Now the time has come to expand and go up the next hill!                                                           *********** This September we will open another branch of the Jerusalem preparatory program in Jerusalem, and we need your help. Our goal is 150,000 NIS to support the extensive and meaningful activity in Jerusalem and promote it to be a productive and pluralistic city in which everyone fells that it is a good place to live.
