The Equalizer

We establish special teams in schools, which combine weekly sport sessions (by a professional coach), weekly educational session (by educational tutors) and 5 regional tournaments. In the social sessions we deliver social and educational activities focusing on empowerment, developing critical life skills, and instilling values of respect, tolerance and more. In our regional tournaments there are 12 team from neighbor communities which meet for a special event. By creating shared positive experience among youth that rarely interact we promote relationships and trust building which are critical for strengthening Israel’s social cohesion. We operate 6 different programs, based on the same model, but designed for different social challenge: reducing educational gaps, promoting gender equality, supporting youth with special need, etc. More details about our programs could be found in our website.
