Donors: 96

Lamerhavim (Open Spaces) is a unique center which aims to provide autistic adults who have multiple challenges, a happy and thriving environment, despite their limitations. The participants attend classes, hike, swim in the kibbutz pool and eat in the kibbutz dining room with members of the kibbutz. The farm, set up on the kibbutz, is located adjacent to the archeological site. Eyal’s Farm is a therapeutic ecological farm, established in memory of Eyal Yoel, a member of Kibbutz Ramat Rachel, who was killed in 2002 during Operation Defensive Shield. The farm, established in 2005, is testimony to his legacy and commemorates Eyal's love for animals, nature and the environment. The farm, functions as an educational-environmental-experiential home focusing on issues of sustainability, ecology, environmental protection and respect for animals. The "Lamerhavim" center was established by the 'SHEKEL – Inclusion for People with Disabilities' at the initiative of a group of parents in partnership with Eyal’s Farm and Kibbutz Ramat Rachel, and is supported by Israel's Ministry of Welfare . The center is in need of donations and public support. Contributions are tax dedunctibe in Israel/USA/Canada/UK.
