A young school teacher was killed by a speeding bus in Har Nof as he crossed a street in broad daylight 30 years ago. Since then, Dr. Michael Goldenhirsch and Rav Yitzchak Kofman, in partnership with Sulamot, have worked on a project aimed to improve the driving culture in Israel through a unique educational approach. The approach is based on applying Torah principles to the driving and pedestrian experience. The rationale behind our program is the fact that human behavior is the main cause of road accidents. We are raising funds to develop educational materials and convert it into creative lively videos to be taught to high school students before they get their driver’s license.
