Our organization was founded in 2000 in response to the second intifada terror attacks which created a sharp increase in the need for professional emergency medical response. With a wave of terror and a shortage of local emergency response teams, Rescuers Without Borders was born (originally Hatzalah Yehuda & Shomron).
Rescuers Without Borders is an Israeli volunteer organization with a network of over 600 medics, paramedics, and doctors who are committed to saving lives. In addition to their daily commitments to careers and family, these incredible men and women donate their time and energy to respond to medical emergencies in their area.
