Steinsaltz Yeshiva

Founded by Rabbi Adin Even-Israel Steinsaltz z״l in 1999, the Steinsaltz Yeshiva is one of the crown jewels among the many treasures given to the Jewish people by the Rabbi. As Rabbi Adin Even-Israel Steinsaltz explained, his goal in founding the Steinsaltz Yeshiva, a five-year program which combines religious learning with army service, was to create a new and innovative center of education, focusing on serving God in theory and in practice. Rabbi Steinsaltz explained that the purpose of the Yeshiva is “to produce not merely Torah scholars, but individuals of integrity, developing exemplary personal character traits which they will retain throughout their lives – whether in relations between man and his fellow, between man and his wife, or between man and his world.” The core mission of the Steinsaltz Yeshiva is to create a cadre of rabbis, teachers, and lay professionals who embrace Rabbi Steinsaltz’s educational philosophy: -Torah learning belongs to every Jew. - All Jews merit the respect and love of their fellow Jews. - All graduates commit their talents and time to making their part of the world a better place.
