Nahariya Relief Center

Nahar-Deiah Institiutions, was established in 1995. among its programs in the city of Nahariya are: food bank, relief center, educational support for low income families, Hesder Yeshiva. Yeshivat Hesder Nahar Deiah, a place where students integrate in-depth Torah study, service in the army and community, was founded 11 years ago (1996) in the city of Nahariya as the spiritual center of the Western Galilee. Our students, who are excellently-trained combat soldiers, enhance the atmosphere with faith, national pride and high esteem bringing the passion of Torah Study to the center of civilization. We are dedicated to bringing about social change through building a stronger community in Nahariya that people can be proud to live within. Our Mission Nahar Deiah bares the national responsibility to revitalize Nahariya, strengthening the entire Western Galilee by having extensive involvement in the city’s education, becoming a center of Torah study and building of Jewish identity, immigrant absorption and charitable activities. Thousands of local children, youth and adults participate in activities initiated by Yeshivat Nahar Deiah. Its efforts in Nahariya provides hundreds of people with their basic needs.
