Krembo Wings

Krembo Wings is Israel’s only fully inclusive youth movement, bringing together children and youth with and without disabilities. Since our founding in 2002, we have grown into a nationwide movement with over 90 branches across the country, serving over 7,000 young people annually. Our members come from every part of Israeli society—urban centers and the periphery, religious and secular, Arab, Bedouin, Druze, Christian, and Jewish. Krembo Wings fosters connection between youth of all backgrounds and abilities, emphasizing shared responsibility, friendship, and mutual respect. Rather than focusing on limitations, we celebrate and build on the unique abilities of every participant. For more than two decades, Krembo Wings has worked to expand visibility, challenge stigma, and promote genuine inclusion for children and youth with disabilities. Each of our branches is embedded in the local landscape, designed to reflect and serve the unique character of its community. At the heart of our model are peer-led activities, where youth take the lead in designing and facilitating inclusive programming. We champion our members not only as participants, but as active agents of change—shaping more inclusive communities from the ground up.
