About 12 years ago in the development of the Har Homa neighborhood of Jerusalem, as a new and young neighborhood, many new religious and traditional areas arrived in the new area. The neighborhood was not religiously developed, such as synagogues, Torah lessons, Midrashim, etc.And since it all started, we decided to set up a small synagogue that had no choice in a bicycle room at the entrance to a building, then moved to a parking lot (no windows at all) that was converted for a synagogue and the "Kerem Shlomo" synagogue. The worshipers felt the need to worship the Lord in a proper place and set up an association to take care of it and be able to conduct it in front of the municipality, etc. Named "Mitzpe Rachel" after the place where we pray, which looks directly to Rachel Amino's burial in Bethlehem. After a few months, the worshipers were able to establish a nonprofit that aims to take care of the spiritual situation in the area while establishing a synagogue built in the designated area. After many inquiries into the city and a few years' journey and with a lot of money, the association managed to obtain a permit to build the synagogueWe are here today after 12 years of founding the association and many have established an active synagogue (in the parking lot) with 3 prayers every day, a morning and evening morning, a Torah lesson every evening, lessons for women, including homeowners, activities for children, community outings, tributes of the righteous, activities of distribution. Torah Everywhere by Shabbos Newsletters Torah lessons on YouTube Bringing the great generation to deliver lessons to the community and more.We are currently in the advanced stages of building the house of God, which is a worthy and honorable building, but is still in the process of raising funds to complete the building of the synagogue. With the help of God we will be blessed to be finished again this year and continue to spread Torah and Judaism to all those around
