Muslala is a vibrant network of artists, activists, educators, and environmental advocates united by a bold vision: to create inspiring models that integrate art, sustainability, and community. Rooted in the cultural richness of Jerusalem, Muslala revitalizes the city, fostering connections between individuals, the community, and the natural world.

As an experimental hub for urban ecology, Muslala is reshaping city spaces, leaving an indelible impact on Jerusalem’s neighborhoods and beyond.
Muslala is dedicated to reimagining cities as thriving, resilient ecosystems. Transforming concrete landscapes into green oases, we aim to create urban spaces that nurture both physical abundance and human flourishing, embracing diversity. Through the development of innovative community hubs, Muslala pioneers models of sustainable, community-focused urban living. Our transformative work in Jerusalem has the potential to inspire cities across Israel and worldwide, resonating with the ancient vision, "For out of Zion shall go forth instruction."
Founded in 2009 by a collective of artists and visionaries aiming to reshape urban spaces, Muslala has since emerged as one of Jerusalem's leading social enterprises. From modest beginnings with just five members, Muslala now employs around twenty staff members, engages hundreds of passionate volunteers, and partners with countless community members. Recognized as a trailblazer in social innovation in Jerusalem, Muslala has been instrumental in creating green, environmentally sustainable spaces that enhance the quality of life for all city residents.
Muslala serves as a living lab for pioneering creative and sustainable urbanism in Jerusalem, a mission that earned the organization the Jerusalem Prize for Outstanding Social Enterprise.
