Lifros Kanaf has been working for six years to connect young people with and without disabilities and to promote inclusion in Israeli society. Since the start of the Iron Swords War, the organization has focused on supporting injured soldiers and their families.
The organization runs programs that build personal and community resilience. The White Sail leadership program offers wounded soldiers six months of group support, emotional processing, leadership skills and opportunities to develop a sense of purpose. The program concludes with an advocacy trip to the United States.
The By Your Side program supports the wives of injured soldiers, offering monthly meetings across the country that provide empowerment and meaningful connections with women facing similar challenges.
Lifros Kanaf also develops creative workshops in fields such as photography, theater, dance, ceramics, painting, and writing. Creative expression helps participants process emotions and regain strength.
