!Vision: All Seniors have the right to age with dignity and wellbeing Aviv for the Elderly (formerly Aviv for Holocaust Survivors) was established in 2007 with the goal of helping Holocaust survivors procure their rights from all relevant parties in Israel and abroad free of charge. Over the years, Aviv has gained extensive experience in consulting, guiding, and assisting in rights procurement for the elderly. Aviv’s team of rights advisors consists of lawyers, social workers, and gerontologists, who, along with other experts, all have extensive experience in treating and assisting the elderly. Over 1,000,000 senior citizens currently live in Israel, many of whom are unaware of the full range of rights they are entitled to under the law, and have difficulty dealing with the bureaucracy in procuring them. Today, Aviv provides personal assistance in accessing a full range of rights with various institutions, including: the National Insurance Institute, government ministries, health funds and insurance companies. Additionally, Aviv works to aid applicable elderly individuals in procuring rights of victims of hostilities, alongside advice, guidance and assistance in consumer protection for senior citizens.
